Serenity Mental Health Centers acknowledges the profound impact of ADHD on individuals' lives, hindering motivation and daily functioning. In our process of diagnosing ADHD, we initiate with a comprehensive ADHD test, which may involve specialized assessments like the computer-based QbTest, thorough discussions, and a thorough review of your medical background. Following diagnosis, we engage in a dialogue about the most suitable treatment options tailored to your circumstances. Our aim is to help our patients reclaim their lives, offering personalized treatment approaches that align with their individual requirements. Depending on your complete medical history and mental health considerations, your treatment plan may incorporate prescription medication, therapy, or a blend of both.

After undergoing ADHD testing and management, you'll gain a clearer insight into your condition along with a tailored plan to address your unique needs. The testing process usually includes comprehensive assessments such as interviews, questionnaires, and cognitive tests to ensure an accurate diagnosis. Following the diagnosis, a customized management plan will be created, which might involve medication, behavioral therapy, lifestyle modifications, and educational support. Regular follow-up appointments will be important for tracking your progress and adjusting your treatment plan as needed. Adhering to this plan can lead to improvements in focus, reduced impulsivity, and better organizational skills, enhancing your overall functioning and quality of life.

  • Precise Assessment: We carefully consider every aspect of a patient's diagnosis and medical requirements to devise a treatment plan that delivers tailored solutions and optimal results.

I highly recommend Tanner as a psychiatrist and honestly the serenity staff as a whole. Tanner helped me find the right medications that worked well together and helped me out tremendously with my depression and anxiety. He’s very knowledgeable and listened to me and my needs. I highly recommend him.

I’ve had a great experience with Serenity health! They’re a very caring team that makes sure you feel cared for. I did TMS with them and they’ve been very flexible and understanding with my treatment. I haven’t felt pressured at all or had issues with payment.

I love Jenn! She genuinely cares and connected with me right away. She takes the time to explain mental health options and decide on an individualized treatment plan. I'm not sure what the other reviews are complaining about. The front desk always answers quickly and has a professional warm staff, I haven't been pressured into TMS, meds have been sent to the pharmacy same day, and the no show policy is comparable to other offices. Serenity has been great for me!

I've never been to a psychiatrist who cares so much. The first time I called to schedule an appointment, they expressed empathy for my mental health struggles. I've never experienced that at any other psychiatric clinic.

Going to Serenity Mental Health has changed my life. After the ketamine treatments, and adjustments to my medication. As my wife said welcome back it's been about 10 years. I think all the staff were excellent. Thanks to Jenn my Provider and McKenzie, I think her name was, she was the nurse that did my ketamine. I now have my life back. I can't remember the last time I was this happy.

Candidates for ADHD testing and management are those who consistently display symptoms like inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity that interfere with daily life or normal functioning. This includes children who face challenges in school, such as difficulty focusing, staying organized, or following instructions, as well as adults who struggle with time management, restlessness, and maintaining focus in their professional or personal lives. When these behaviors are observed consistently over time and across different settings, ADHD testing is recommended. Additionally, individuals with a family history of ADHD or related learning and attention issues may be strong candidates for assessment. Effective ADHD management typically involves a combination of behavioral therapy, lifestyle adjustments, and possibly medication, tailored to each individual's unique needs.

How old do I need to be for ADHD testing?

ADHD testing typically commences at the age of six and continues into adulthood, varying by location. Although commonly diagnosed in childhood, individuals of any age can undergo evaluation for ADHD.

Is medication the only treatment option for ADHD?

Medication isn't the only treatment option for ADHD. Behavioral and lifestyle adjustments can be highly effective, along with alternative therapies like TMS therapy. Our team collaborates with you to devise a personalized treatment strategy tailored to your specific requirements.

What is the difference between ADD and ADHD?

ADD is an outdated term that is often used interchangeably with ADHD. Even if an individual does not exhibit hyperactivity symptoms, the diagnosis would still be ADHD.
